The BEST Grilled Chicken (No Marinating Time!)

No marinating required. For oven cooking: lay chicken thighs on a sheet pan and bake at 425°F for 15 minutes, flip, then cook another 5 minutes. Can be made 2 days in advance and reheated on grill, in oven at 350°F for 5 min, or in microwave for 45 seconds. Leftovers last up to 4 days in fridge or can be frozen up to 4 months. For added spice, add 1/4–1/2 tsp chili powder or pinch of red pepper flakes. Chicken breasts can be substituted; cook 9–10 minutes until internal temp reaches 165°F.

  1. Place the chicken thighs in a bowl.
  2. Add in the oil and spices and stir with a fork to ensure all sides of the chicken are well coated.
  3. Heat a barbecue to high heat.
  4. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes before flipping and cooking for another 5 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and dark grill marks form.
